Becoming a mom and becoming a life coach both cracked me open—in the best way and the hardest way. They’ve challenged me, refined me, and shaped me into a woman I barely recognize (in the best way). Here’s what I’ve learned:
As a Mom
I’ve learned to embrace imperfection, to apologize and repair, to slow down and truly see my daughters. I’ve discovered that connection is more powerful than control. I’ve traded yelling for curiosity, pressure for presence, and unrealistic expectations for grace—both for them and for myself.
As a Life Coach
I’ve learned how to hold space—not just for others, but for myself. I’ve learned to listen deeply, ask better questions, and guide with compassion, not just solutions. Coaching has taught me that transformation doesn’t come from being fixed—but from being fully seen and supported.
Together
Being a mom made me a better coach. Being a coach made me a better mom. I bring what I learn in one area into the other—because both roles require empathy, resilience, growth, and a whole lot of heart.
